On June 1, 2017, accompanied by the Director of School of Art Lin Xuewei, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Li Yihua, Dean of Russian Department of School of Foreign Languages Chang Ying and Yang Jianzhao from Department of Science and Technology, Deputy Secretary of CPC of HUST and Vice Chairperson of Provincial Social Science Association Lu Yan led to pay a visit to Heilongjiang Department of Culture and exchanged ideas, and was received by Deputy Director General (Inspector of Director General Level) of Heilongjiang Department of Culture Qi Jun, Director of Department of Science and Education Li Ling, and Investigator of Division Level Jiang Bingkai.
At the exchange meeting, firstly, Deputy Secretary of CPC of HUST Lu Yan expressed the gratitudes to the constant support from Heilongjiang Department of Culture for HUST and introduced the service given by Social Science Association of HUST to the economic construction of Heilongjiang Province, as well as Heilongjiang art scientific planning projects of HUST for the past three years; associating with the speech delivered by Secretary of Heilongjiang Party Committee Zhang Qingwei at the 12thHeilongjiang Congress of Party Representatives, she made prospect for the contributions made by cultural and art characteristics and outstanding disciplines of HUST to building a culturally advanced border province; lastly, she hoped Heilongjiang Department of Culture and HUST should make in-depth cooperation and exchanges in the aspects of scientific research projects, base construction, construction of cultural think-tank and so on.
This exchange meeting enhanced the understanding of Heilongjiang Department of Culture and HUST and deepened the bilateral cooperation relations, providing a new development opportunity for the further progress of humanities and social science of HUST.
