BEIJING. On the morning of February 13, the commencement of Seminar on studying & implementing the Spirit of 6th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Conference for main leading cadres at provincial & ministerial levels, was started in Party School of CPC Central Committee.
The commencement was hosted by PRC’s state Premier Li Keqiang, and Xi Jinping, general secretary of CPC Central Committee, as well as PRC’s state president and CMC chairman, attended the commencement and delivered an important talk.
In his talk, President Xi stressed the importance of studying and implementing the spirit of 6th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Conference, as well as holding this seminar.
President Xi reviewed the history of CPC to prove that placing due emphasis on politics is the fundamental guarantee for CPC to keep on growing healthily. To place due emphasis on politics, he ordered all attendees to defend the authority of CPC Central Committee self-consciously, and execute strict disciplines to fight against all kinds of privileges, both in action and in mind.
President Xi stressed that under current situation, there were inevitably new features and characteristics shown in our Party’s political life, which required leaders at all levels to keep pace with the times, and can always find and solve the newly-arisen problems timely, so as to keep our Party’s political life in an ever-vigorous surroundings.
President Xi pointed out that the newly issued “Principles” and “Ordinances” by CPC Central Committee on her 6th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Conference are the fundamental strategy to keep our Party’s political life on correct route, and should be studied and implemented seriously, in complication with the requirement of governing the Party strictly so as to purify our ideological style, studying style, leading style, working style and living style.
President Xi also stressed that criticism and self-criticism is the biggest advantage of our Party. He hoped all attendees, as the heads of backbone cadres of their own province and ministry, to pioneer revolutions of self-administration in their posts, in accordance with the “Principles” and “Ordinances”.
Premier Li spoke highly of President Xi’s talk, and encouraged all trainees to carry out its spirit to welcome the grand convocation of the 18th CPC Conference with greater achievements.
Other members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, i.e., Zhang Dejiang,Yu Zhengsheng, Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan and Zhang Gaoli, together with non-standing committee members, directors of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairmen of the Standing Committee of NPC, State Councilors, president of PRC Supreme People’s Court, procurator general of PRC Supreme People’s Protectorate, vice chairman of the CPPCC members of CMC, central principals of 8 democratic parties, ACFIC as well as relevant ministries and departments, attended the commencement, too.
Leading cadres of 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, XPCC, relevant branches of CPC Central Committee and all state organs, army units and CMC, enrolled in the seminar.
