On July 23, over 100 students of 1992 alumni majoring in electrical engineering returned to school to celebrate the 20th anniversary of graduation. Many teachers back at that time attended the reunion, including former Vice-president Meng Dawei, then deputy director of Department of Electrical Engineering, Director of Graduate Division Ge Baohui, then course teacher, Director of Students’ Affairs Department Yang Zhongxue, then student, Dean of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Cheng Qingguo, Associate Dean Zhou Meilan, then course teacher, Associate Dean and Deputy Secretary Yang Fang, then student, Director of Department of Electrical Engineering, then course teacher, the teacher of the department Wen Jiabin, then course teacher, former Secretary General of Party General Branch Zhang Liwei, then deputy secretary and deputy director of Department of Electrical Engineering, former Curator of the library Pan Zhuangyuan, then course teacher, and Wang Wei, teacher in the School of Foreign Languages, then a course teacher, participated in the commemoration on campus.

At 8 o’clock, the alumni arrived at the gate of the west campus, and took pictures right before some teaching buildings, namely the South West Building, library, “Thanksgiving Stone”, “Motto Stone” under the guidance of volunteers from “Alumni’s Family”. Later, they reached Room G1012 in the new teaching building together with their then teachers to participate in the symposium between teachers and students. During the symposium, Dean Chen Guoqing extended a warm welcome to all the alumni present and introduced achievements and programs of school over the years. Meanwhile, representatives of the alumni expressed their reflections on life and shared with all the members present their experiences after graduation.

After the meeting, the alumni visited Alumni’s Home, accompanied by Deputy Secretary General of the alumni association Dong Chuanyou. Meanwhile, the alumni also downloaded COMEBACK APP, and shared the QR code of it on the moments so as to enable more alumni to join in the group. After visiting Alumni’s Home, the alumni got to the School History Museum, retrospecting the development of school, and walked around the south campus where they once studied for two years, recalling the days when they studied and lived here. Those who were members of the football team got back to the football field, and took a picture, following the same position as was shown in the old photo.

At last, they arrived at the east campus by school bus to visit and have lunch there. After lunch, they left school, promising to reunite in another decade, and donating 10,000 yuan to the School Education and Development Fund to support the development and construction.
