President Li Dayong Attends “Sino-Japanese University Fair & Forum in China 2017”

From May 13 to 14, President Li Dayong attended “Sino-Japanese University Fair & Forum in China 2017” held at Shanghai Mart.

The forum was co-hosted by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and co-sponsored by Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, Japanese Consulate General in Shanghai, Japan External Trade Organization and Japan Academic Organization; Presidents, scholars and experts from over 20 Chinese universities including Zhejiang University, Dalian University of Technology, Shanghai University, Jilin University, Tianjin University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Harbin University of Science and Technology, as well as up to 30 Japanese universities consisting of Kobe University, Nagoya University, Iwate University, Ibaraki University, Gifu University, Kyushu University, Nagoya Institute of Technology, and City Planning Institute of Japan were invited to participate in it. Discussions of the forum were centered on “University Management, Internationalization and Talent Cultivation” and other themes.

This forum created more opportunities to further expand the communication and cooperation between universities of Japan and China, and build up a great platform of establishing friendly intercollegiate relations, student exchanges, and joint scientific research.

President Li Dayong was accompanied by Xi Zhaohui, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Liu Xiaodong, who is in charge of exchanges with Japan.
