Successful Establishment of the Provincial IT IndustryUniversity-Enterprise Employment Alliance and Campus Recruitment Fair at HUST

On the morning of October 13, the Heilongjiang University Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Guidance Center, Internet Society of HeiLongJiang, and Heilongjiang Software and Information Service Industry Association jointly hosted the“Heilongjiang Province IT Industry School-Enterprise Employment Alliance Establishment and Campus Recruitment Fair,”which was successfully held at the 0220 Lecture Hall of Building 1 in the west campus of our university. Attendees included Guo Chengzhe, Director of the Heilongjiang University Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Guidance Center, Liu Hongyu, Deputy Director, Sun Qingbin, Director of the Marketing Department, Yu Degui, Chairman of the Internet Society of HeiLongJiang, Liu Guangbo, Chairman of the Heilongjiang Software and Information Service Industry Association, officials from the university's Party Committee Student Affairs Department, and members of the leadership team of the School of Computer Science and Technology. Simultaneously, 45 universities in Heilongjiangprovince, including Harbin Engineering University, and 34 companies, such as the five major telecommunications operators in Heilongjiang Province and Longcai Technology Group, participated as the first batch of members in the alliance. Yu Degui, Chairman of the Internet Society of HeiLongJiang, delivered a speech. Wu Zhiqiang, General Manager of Longcai Technology Group, spoke on behalf of local Internet companies, and Huang Hai, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology, spoke on behalf of the alliance universities. Relevant units signed agreements on talent cooperation frameworks and the establishment of university-enterprise joint employment bases. After the meeting, leaders conducted on-site inspections of the recruitment fair.
This event, guided by the principles of“cooperation, integration, and mutual benefit,”brought together various social forces, leveraged the advantages of resource sharing, and established a platform for cooperation between government, universities, industry, and enterprises. The aim is to help students in Heilongjiang achieve their career dreams and contribute to the rapid and good development of the economy and society in Heilongjiang by promoting the high-quality and full employment of more IT graduates in the province.
According to statistics, each year in Heilongjiang Province, more than 50 universities cultivate over 20,000 graduates in computer-related majors.HUST alone produces nearly 1,000 computer-related graduates annually. These graduates are expected to become the maindriving force for the development of digital, networked, and intelligent construction.
