Professor Cai Wei elected fellow of China Electrotechnical Society in 2022

According to “Fellow Regulations of China Electrotechnical Society (for Trial Implementation)”, recommendation and nomination of each department, the selection of fellow review committee, examined and adopted by the fourth meeting of ninth standing council of China Electrotechnical Society, Cai Wei, professor of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and team leader, was elected fellow of China Electrotechnical Society in 2022. In addition, nine other people were elected.

Founded in 1981, the China Electrotechnical Society (China Electrotechnical Society, abbreviation: CES) is a national first-level Chinese society registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and it is an important part of the China Association for Science and Technology. After more than 40 years of development, it has more than 50,000 members, more than 1,500 group members, and more than 2,600 senior members. The Society has established close ties with international organizations and scientific research institutions such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers(IEEE), the Institution of Engineering and Technology(IET), the German Institute of Electrical Engineers (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker, VDE), the International Continence Society (ICS) and so on. The institute has been committed to the research and application of electrical theory, research and development of electrical technology, design and manufacturing of electrical equipment and electrical products, etc.
