“HUST Professional Skills Level Examination site for Smart Manufacturing Engineering Technical Personnel” was unveiled on the morning of August 10th at our Rongcheng campus, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. The ceremony was chaired by Wang Ling, Assistant Secretary-General of the China Mechanical Engineering Society and Director of Education and Training, with Liu Daming, Deputy Chairman of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, reading the “Letter on the Establishment of the Harbin University of Science and Technology Examination Center”. Chen Qingguo, Vice President of Harbin University of Science and Technology, and Liu Daming, Deputy Chairman of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, unveiled the examination site. Wang Yiwen, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Duan Hongwei, Dean of Rongcheng College, Zhang Yuan, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Dong Jinghao, Vice Dean of Rongcheng College, and Vice Deans Jiang Jingang, Yang Fang, Dai Ye, and Yue Caixu from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering attended the unveiling ceremony.
With the support of the university leadership and guidance from the Academic Affairs Office, the Rongcheng campus actively applied for the examination site in May of this year, and successfully obtained approval.
This examination is a national-level assessment. The establishment of this exam site at our university implements the relevant requirements of the new era’s talent work, accelerates the pace of cultivating digital technology talents, and is an important measure for our country to train digital economy talents. The training center of our university is open to senior students majoring in relevant disciplines and public candidates, providing one-stop services for training and examinations relying on our excellent faculty resources. People who pass the assessment will receive the “Certificate of Professional Skills Level in Smart Manufacturing”, and the information of certificate holders will be included in data base by the local human resources and social security departments, so the related policies will be implemented, such as professional title recognition (primary, intermediate), and others.
The establishment of the exam and training site in our university can solve our shortage in the field of smart manufacturing, and further strengthen and deepen the school-enterprise cooperation, support the construction of the School’s High-end Equipment Smart Manufacturing, actively explore new models of deep integration with enterprises, and promote the continuous progress of our university's education.
