In order to thoroughly study and implement theessenceof the 20th National Congress andthe spirit made byGeneral Secretary Xi Jinping, accurately grasp the new opportunities of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform, and promote the high-quality development of Longjiang industry, Under the guidance of Heilongjiang Federation of Social Sciences Circles, the conference was jointly sponsored by Academic Exchange Base, Economics and ManagementschoolofHUST, and undertaken by Editorial Department of Journal of Science and Technology Management and Research Center for Population Economy and Talent Development.
Professor Chen Qingguo, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice-President ofHUST, and Professor Wang Hongyu, member of the Party Group and Vice-Chairman of Heilongjiang Federation of Social Sciences, attended the forum and delivered speeches.
Inthespeech, Chen Qingguo introduced the development process and advantages ofHUST, the discipline construction and landmark achievements ofitsEconomics and Managementschool. He sincerely hoped that all experts and scholars would discuss new challenges, new paths and new countermeasures for scientific and technological innovation to drive the high-quality development ofHeilongjiang’s industry through the exchange of academic achievements, based on the new development stage, and focusing on improving the basic theoretical research level and the major needs ofthe provinceunder thechanging times.

In his speech, Wang Hongyu pointed out that it is of great significance to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinpingand gather the wisdom of social sciences to promote the high-quality development of Longjiang’s economy by leading the overall revitalization of our province’s industries with scientific and technological innovation. The layout and construction of provincial academic exchange base is agoodmeasure to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping. The closing ceremony was presided over by Wu Jianlong.
