From Oct. 16 to 17,a HUSTCCYLdelegation, led by League Secretary Jiang Guoyu, paid a visit to and made a survey in the city of Jiamusi for its cultural surroundings and the achievements which it has made in Sci-tech innovation, e-commerce industry, talent introducing, etc, in the past 40 years since “Reform and Opening-up” policy was firstly implemented all over China. The delegation communicated and shared experiences with the teachers and students from Jiamusi University.
The visit is a part of the campaign for the whole Heilongjiang undergraduates, entitled as “Touch& Serve Jiamusi, the new land of Heilongjiang”, launched byMunicipalCCYL Committee of Jiamusi, who, in accordance with the deployments ofProvincial CCYL Committee and CPC Committee’s Council of Higher Educational Work of Heilongjiang to carry out infra-provincial cooperation between cities and universities or colleges in talent introduction, had set up an effective communication system to HUST CCYL Committee, aiming at providing better facility to attract more outstanding HUST students to start their careers inthe city of Jiamusi after graduation.
18 out of the 20 delegation members were internal students, whose majors were all likely to meet the actual demand of current Jiamusi social and economic development and all of whom were selected after three rounds (class, school and university) of selection. During the two days’ survey, they attended thesymposium held by Municipal CCYL Committee of Jiamusi on which corresponding policies of talent introduction to Jiamusi was announced, and visited quite a few organizations there,including Jiamusi Museum,Jiamusi Electric Machine Co. Ltd,Jiamusi E-commerce Industrial Park, Jiamusi University Science Park, and so on.
Through this survey, the students have broadened their viewpoints on innovation, got a detailed information on the gratifying development of Jiamusi and enhanced their confidence in the prosperity of serving the construction of a brand new Heilongjiang.
