Directed by the head Yu Mulin, a delegation of Harbin Science and Technology Bureau (HSTB) visited HUST to investigate the industrialization of scientific achievements, and had a talk on scientific research and development as well as industrialization of scientific achievements. President Li Dayong, Vice President Wei Xinlao, General Manager of University Science Park Yu Pengtian, Director of Department of Science and Technolgy Zhang Xiaohong, and Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technolgy Huang Jisheng attended the meeting.

President Li Dayong extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Harbin Science and Technology Bureau, and extended a heartfelt appreciation to the long-term great support from HSTB on scientific development and talent training. Vice President Wei Xinlao introduced the scientific development of HUST and efforts on industrialization of scientific achievements. Director Zhang Xiaohong gave an account of the projects with industrialization conditions.

Director Yu Mulin spoke highly of the achievements that HUST had gained. Afterwards, she gave an introduction to the general design and measures to advance industrialization of scientific achievements.

Finally, the delegation visitedthe Research Center of LED Optoelectronic Engineering and University Science Park, accompanied by Vice President Wei Xinlao.

Director Yu Mulin suggested that our university should consider the adjustment of industrial layout, make full use of relevant policies and our own advantages on disciplines, and make great effort to achieve industrialization of scientific achievements, so as to provide technical support to the economic development of Harbin.
