On the afternoon of May 8th, President of HUST and HUST Alumni Association Li Dayong and Vice-President Wu Junfeng respectively met Secretary-General of Hangzhou Alumni Association Li Yanbao as a graduate from our Marketing and Management Department and Head of Cooperation and Exchange Department of Zhejiang Provincial Commercial Cadre Training Center in the company of Director of Retired Staff Department Yang Shibin, Director of Alumni Office Chen Hongbin, and Vice-Director of School Office Zhao Liqiu.

Both President Li Dayong and Vice-President Wu Junfeng expressed their warm welcome to Secretary-General Li Yanbao for his visit, and extended their sincere appreciation for the efforts and hard work of Hangzhou Alumni Association. President Li also conveyed all staff’s and students’ greetings to President of Hangzhou Alumni Association Tian Zhimin and other alumnus in Hangzhou via Secretary-General Li, and wished them a happy life and everything going well with their work.

On behalf of Hangzhou alumnus, Secretary-General Li Baoyan expressed hearted appreciation to President Li Dayong’s greeting and cultivation to university for many years. Secretary-General Li Baoyan reported some key points to President Li Dayong, such as talents cultivation cooperation between HUST and Hangzhou Alumni Association, cooperation between alumni’s enterprises and HUST’s research achievements, and the developmental orientation and prospect of Hangzhou Alumni Association.

After hearing the report, President Li Dayong replied delightedly that alumni always focus on the development and change of HUST and keep in touch with us, which is a fully recognition to our achievements. HUST Alumni Association will stress more on service in future, including close contact with alumni, creating good atmosphere of HUST and alumni showing care to each other, and sharing the pleasure of HUST’s development. When talking about promotion of talent cultivation cooperation, establishment of employment and practical training base, and especially in Server Cooperation Projects, President Li hoped that alumni will use the platform of Alumni Association to communicate with HUST, achieve wide cooperation, promote resource sharing, realize win-win cooperation between alumni and HUST, and make new contribution to HUST’s development.
