On the morning of May 18th, the signing ceremony of strategic partnership agreement between HUST and the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center was held in the 2ndMeeting Room of the New Teaching Building on the West Campus. Director of Harbin Electric Instrument Research Institute and Director of the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center Zhang Mingyuan, Deputy Director of Harbin Electric Instrument Research Institute and Secretary-general of IEC/TC85 Secretariat Chen Bo, Deputy Director of the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center Li Junming and Shao Fengyun, Senior Engineer Ma Dong, President of HUST Li Dayong, Vice President Wei Xinlao, Director of Office of Science and Technology Zhang Xiaohong, Dean ofSchool of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications EngineeringYu Xiaoyang and the leadership team ofSchool of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications Engineeringand some of the teachers attended the signing ceremony, presided by Zhou Changqun, the Party Secretary ofSchool of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications Engineering.
At the signing ceremony, President Li Dayong extended a warm welcome to the guests from the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and expressed his heartfelt expectations on the successful cooperation between HUST and the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. President Li emphasized that the signing of strategic partnership agreement between HUST and the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, which signifies a new step of our cooperation, will mark a new phase of prosperity and development.
Director Zhang Mingyuan pointed out that Harbin Electric Instrument Research Institute maintains a close relationship with HUST these years. The signing of this agreement is another significant achievement during the long-term cooperation between Harbin Electric Instrument Research Institute and HUST. It is also a milestone for our cooperation combining industry, university and institute.
Dean ofSchool of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications EngineeringYu Xiaoyang and Deputy Director of the National Electric Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center Li Junming represented each party to sign the agreement. President Li awarded certificates to appoint Zhang Mingyuan and Chen Bo, Director and Deputy Director of Harbin Electric Instrument Research Institute, as part-time supervisors for master degree candidates.
