On June 29th, President Li Dayong met President of Dalian Alumni Association Zhang Haijie, Executive Vice President Fan Boacheng, Vice President Ren Dayong and Cai Xiaodong, Deputy Secretary Chen Jinzhao, who were invited to attend the first Alumni Forum and 2012 undergraduate graduation ceremony. President of School of Electric and Electronic Engineering Li Zhonghua, President ofSchool of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications Engineering Yu Xiaoyang, President of School of Economics Xiu Guoyi, Director of Alumni Office Chen Hongbin were all present.
President Li Dayong expressed his warm welcome to President Zhang Haijie for his coming, and extended his sincere appreciation for presence at Alumni Forum and2012 undergraduate graduation ceremonyin spite of busy work. President Li also conveyed greetings from all staff and students in HUST to Dalian Alumnus, and wished them a happy life and smooth work.
On behalf of Dalian alumni, President Zhang Haijie expressed heartfelt appreciation to President Li Dayong’s greeting and education he had received in the mother university for many years. He spoke of his pride and passion for presence at 2012 undergraduate graduation ceremony on behalf of alumnus, which made his dream of graduation ceremony come true. President Zhang Haijie reported the current condition of Dalian Alumni, his own business, and the intention to cooperate with HUST for integration of enterprises, universities and research institutes.
