On July 6^th, the 3^rdProvincial University Modern Educational Technique Symposium was held at Heilongjiang University, and nearly 50 network information centers and modern education centers in Heilongjiang Province attended the Symposium. The Symposium centered on “The Application and Development of University Modern Educational Technique”, summarizing the development of provincial university modern educational technique and its status quo and exploring its future working emphasis.

Network information center Director Sun Mingsong, Vice Director Shi Changren and the Department of Multimedia Courseware Teacher Qu Qianqian attended the Symposium. Sun Mingsong delivered a speechThe Orientation of Network Information Center against the New Circumstances, which made a thorough exploration on the integration and innovation among the network, multimedia and communication resource, and introduced the function and the orientation of the network information center. He emphasized the facilitation of the network information center on university education, scientific research and management. His speech was highly praised and aroused warm resonance from other participants.

The Symposium conducted the 5^thappraisal of the university multimedia courseware and modern educational technique paper. HUST selected and sent 17 multimedia courseware and papers, including seven courseware and ten papers. Furthermore, two papers on modern educational technique received the first prize. The Symposium elected the new leaders of the Provincial University Modern Educational Technique Committee. Sun Mingsong was elected to be the Vice Director of the Committee and Shi Changren to be the Vice Secretary General.

Through the Symposium, the network information center strengthened the communication and cooperation with the staff in other universities in the field of university modern educational technique, and perfectly displayed the development of HUST, which may definitely promote the modernization of educational technique in HUST.
