With the support of chief leaders, laboratory management and dean’s office, the School of Computer has set up wide and deep personnel training corporate relationship with Oracle and ATMEL.
The School of Computer has collaborated with Oracle University, established Oracle authorized practicing base, and founded personnel training base and international authenticated examination center in Heilongjiang Province.
The School of Computer took an active part in advanced computer scientific item of Oracle educational project. Oracle granted the School of Computer software and courseware valued more than 2,000,000yuan, such as Oracle Database11g Enterprise Edition, Oracle Developer Suite 10g, Application Server 10g Release2/3, etc.
ATMEL aided the School of Computer to establish HUST ATMEL MCU laboratory, granted 10 cases of EVK1100 developed boards, 50 cases of AVRDRAGON developed boards, 40 cases of XMEGAA3BU-XPLD developed boards, and carried on technical training to relative teachers.
At present, Oracle is the biggest database and enterprise management software provider in the world. It occupies the first position in more than 40 product fields and profession fields which includes database, data warehouse, database based on Linux system, embedded database, middleware, business analysis software, business analysis tool, supply chain management, human resources management, customer relationship management, applied platform external member, retail profession, financial service profession, communication profession, public service profession, specialty service profession and etc. Among enterprise groups, 98% of Top 500 are using Oracle technology.
ATMEL is the leader in advanced semiconductor product design, manufacture and sale. The establishment of the above-mentioned 2 united laboratories will help the School of Computer to improve the conditions of database software enormously and the quality of personnel training.
