On July 22^nd, hosted by the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province and the Municipal Government of Weihai, attended by Science and Technology Bureau of Weihai and the Municipal Government of Rongcheng, the grand opening ceremony of4^thStrategic Alliance Week of Industry and Technology Innovation of Rongcheng, Shandong Province, was held in Shidao International Conference Center. Mr. Zhang Su, HUST member of the standing committee, president assistant and dean of Rongcheng College, attended the opening ceremony as an honored guest, together with the General Manager of HUST Science Park (HUSTSP) Mr. Yu Pengtian, the party branch secretary of HUSTSP Mr. Yu Yandong, the director of Automotive Electronics Center of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Mr. Wang Xudong, the assistant dean of Rongcheng College Mr. Song Jiasheng, the general manager of HUSTSP, Rongcheng branch Mr. Xu Wanli, and Prof. Zhang Guicheng of the School of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications Engineering.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of Rongcheng Municipal Party Committee, Mayor Jiang Shan, Deputy Mayor Xu Lianxin of Weihai, Party Secretary Fan Qiangguo of the East China Sea Aquatic Products Research Institution affiliated to China Aquatic Products Academy of Science, and Board Chairman Zhang Fenglou of China Health Care Association delivered speeches successively, affirming the achievements made by Rongcheng in industry and technology innovation, and also expecting the further university-industry collaboration and industrial pattern innovation.After that, HUST delegation attended the Automobile& Machinery Industry Match-up and the Electromobile University-Industry Collaboration Match-up of the Economic Develop Zone where Director Zhang Yu of HUSTSP Development and Management Center and Prof. Wang Xudong introduced the achievements in HUST scientific research.

On July.24^th, HUST delegation attended the signing ceremony ofthe 4^thStrategic Alliance Week of Industry & Technology Innovation of Rongcheng, Shandong Province, where General Manager Yu Pengtian of HUSTSP signed theStrategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between HUST Science Park and Rongcheng Development Zone, and General Manager Xu Wanli of HUSTSP, Rongcheng branch signed theResearch Program on Key Technologies of Vertical Lathe of High-speed, High-precision and Large-unbalance Loading Hydrostatic Slidewaywith Rongcheng Forging and Pressing Machine Tools Co. LTD..

Over the years, Rongcheng College has kept strengthening the cooperation and communication with the Rongcheng Municipal Government and local enterprises, and both parties have establishedRongcheng University-Industry Base, theEntrepreneurship and Hatching Base of Rongcheng College Graduates, andWeihai Further Education Base of Professional and Technical Personnel, which have offered a comprehensive service platform for scientific research, program hatching, university-industry collaboration and entrepreneurship training. With repeated exchange visits and surveys, both parties have signed over ten crosswise agreements of various fields, boosting the technical promotion and industrial reconstruction of local enterprises. Through the exchange and communication with various trade associations, R&D institutions and local enterprises, HUST has fully shown its strength of scientific research and contributed to the carrying out of scientific research programs and university-industry collaboration.
