The Provincial Education Department announced the construction project list of undergraduate major comprehensive reform sites in Heilongjiang Province, and six majors in our university, namely Electrical Engineering and Automation, Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Information and Computing Science, Measurement Control Technology and Instruments, Software Engineering and Business Administration, are approved to be undergraduate major comprehensive reform sites and are funded by the Provincial Education Department.

During the application for the reform sites, our university strictly carries through the spirit of Ministry of Education and is in accordance with the requirements of Provincial Education Department. Vice President Meng Dawei held a conference especially for this application job, calling for all the majors to engage in the application actively. On the conference, vice president Meng Dawei hope that all the majors should complete the task successfully, and he assigned the application job to Dean Department. Our university completes the application task successfully and finally the experts select 11 majors to be recommended to the Provincial Education Department.

The approval of the six undergraduate majors in our university can guide the undergraduate major construction, improve the level of major construction, highlight the major characteristics and improve the quality of talents.
