Invited by HUST, Director of Business and Technology School Rober B. Rogow and Head of Aviation Major Ralph Gibbs of Eastern Kentucky University, Professor of Enterprise Management Institute and Head of Information Management Major Lin Changyang as well as the project consultants Ms Jane Wang, Ms Carol Rogow and Ms Romona Gibbs visited HUST on November 23.

Vice President Zhao Hong met with the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties introduced the specific situation of the university to each other. Vice Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation and Vice Director of School of Foreign Languages Liu Liqun, Vice Director of School of Economy Wang Zhonghua, and Vice Director of School of Computer Science Sun Guanglu gave the specified introduction of HUST, discipline majors, talents training, academic research, teaching and other issues to the guests with PowerPoint. Director of Business and Technology School Rober B. Rogow introduced the situation of Eastern Kentucky University as well, hoping to carry out the cooperation with the relevant majors of HUST. Head of Aviation Major, Professor Ralph Gibbs suggested EKU, HUST and Hafei Motor Co., LTD should cultivate the talents together, further expanding the cooperation with HUST. The two parties also discussed the issues concerning students exchange program. Director Rober B. Rogow sincerely invited the delegation of HUST would pay a visit to EKU the next year and Vice President Zhao Hong expressed gratitude and accepted the invitation. The cooperation between HUST and EKU aimed to create more opportunities and develop the cooperation partner for the future joint-running education.

After the meeting, the two parties signed the cooperative framework agreement, planning to implement the students exchange, teachers exchange, joint-running cultivation and other programmes.
