In order to increase the establishment of soft power of our university’s culture, enhance the artistic accomplishments of all faculties and students, and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with foreign art, the Propaganda United Front Department and Art School jointly organized the “Zhixing Forum” series of academic exchanges activities, inviting Amur State Artistic Association Vice Chairman, Professor of Art Department of Amur National University,Гласников Владимир Григорьевич and his party to visit our university on the 10, December, and gave a lecture of painting techniques for the staff and students in the hall of library. Assistant Dean of Art School, Fan Chuanjun, presided over the lecture, the Deputy Director of the School Party Committee Propaganda of United Front Department, Wu Qiufeng, and the leadership of the Art School also attended the lecture.
The Russian oil painter made a live demonstration and explanation of oil painting techniques, material use and creative techniques for teachers and students. With the help of an interpreter, the Russian oil painter answered all kinds of technical problems patiently proposed by students.
It can be said the Russian oil painting played a key role in the development of Chinese oil painting, and the early Chinese oil painting was just established from the Russian school of painting system. This exchange is more intuitive to the students to learn the present status of research and development of Russian oil painting, makes students enjoy the superb purely Russian oil painting techniques and have a deeper understanding of the western oil painting so as to make students have more interest in investigation of oil painting materials and techniques; meanwhile, it sets up an international academic exchange platform for the Art School, and contributes to promote the expansion of the Art school space and optimize the sound teaching system.
