To celebrate the successful conclusion of the 18thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to carry forward the lofty volunteer spirit of “dedication, friendship, mutual aid and progress”, Young Volunteers Association of HUST held a grand charitable debriefing in Lecture Hall 0220 of No. 1 Building of West Campus on 14:00 pm Nov. 17th, 2012. Shan Lina, Secretary of Committee of Communist Youth League of HUST,Zheng Xiaowei, Principal of Pingfang Primary School of Pingfang District, Fang Donghai, Director of Helping Disabled Center of Harbin, Ma Bo, Head of Charitable Service Team of Harbin, Xiang Zheng,Secretary of Committee of Communist Youth League of the School of Foreign Languages,the teachers and students of Pingfang Primary School and Gongnong Primary School and more than 500 volunteers attended this debriefing.
At the beginning of the debriefing,Shan Lina, Secretary of Committee of Communist Youth League of HUST, welcomed the 67 students who had received the subsidies, commended the whole year’s work of Young Volunteers Association of HUST and expressed her respect to all the students who had participated in the volunteer service. Then Zheng Xiaowei, Principal of Pingfang Primary School and Fang Donghai, Director of Helping Disabled Center of Harbin thanked the young volunteers’work of HUST and appealed more people to care about the children of migrant workers and the vulnerable groups.
At the end of the debriefing, the volunteers who had worked hard and dedicated enthusiastically were commended. All the young volunteers of HUST would continue developing thevolunteer spirit of “dedication, friendship, mutual aid and progress”.
