President Li Dayong Conducts the In-depth Research on Salary Distribution Strategy

From April 23rd to April 27th, President Li Dayong and other staff in salary distributing team had a talk with the teachers from 16 schools to listen to their advice on salary distribution.

The salary distributing reform initiated in 2012, whose purpose was to share the fruit of development among the staff. Last March, the questionnaire about salary distribution was issued on the campus network receiving 969 answers. Furthermore, the team conducted surveys on the problem in other universities. Based on the research and questionnaire, the relevant departments in HUST drafted the program and evaluating system according to their respective function. The initial strategy for distributing salary took shape. In this January, Li Dayong, Vice President Zhao Hong, Vice President Meng Dawe, Vice President Wei Xinlao and President Rong Panxiang and staff from relevant departments had conferences to discuss the problem.

On March 18th, Li Dayong hosted the conference for the leaders of all the schools and departments and explained the content of the strategy for them. He asked the leaders to be capable of comprehending the intention of the university and interpreting the policy to their respective department.

Li Dayong pointed out that the huge amount of loan brought with it great difficulty for the finance of the university. Deficiency of fund is a problem that cannot be solved within short period of time. Meanwhile, for such a big university, it is impossible to satisfy the requirement of everyone. Despite of this, the interest of the staff should be guaranteed and the salary distributing strategy is going to be unveiled.
