Recently, the reporter visited theScience and Technology Park and experienced the hardworking processes of the graduates with long-term goal. The new startups tasted sweetness and bitterness, but they never gave up and backed off. They firmly believed that to harden themselves can achieve their dream. Three Young Bosses in the Science and Technology Park
As a national levelScience and Technology Park inprovincial university,Science and Technology Park of HUST owns over 200 enterprises and 39 of them are graduates’ self-employed branch companies which take up 20% of the enterprises’ totality. Recently, the reporter visited the Science and Technology Park andinterviewed several self-employed graduates who told the reporter how they became a boss from a student.
Qi Quan is pursuing his master degree with 100,000 RMB annual income
Qi Quan is pursuing his master degree in Electrical Engineering, and he is also the legal body of Harbin Shengyuanbaili Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd with over 100,000 RMB annual income, who is a success in the eyes of their peers.
Qi Quan occasionally found the temperature in garages is 20℃ during winter, but the proper temperature only needs over 0℃. The owners of garages not only have to pay the expensive heating bill but waste the thermal energy. He researched and then reformed garages so as to achieve the zero heating cost goal during winter. After one-year researching, their heating energy efficient garage experiment ended with success, and the garage is called “cold climate region energy efficient garage”. Qi said the cost of the old garage reform is 4000RMB, and that can save the cost of heating. Their company has already reformed over 8000 garages in Yichun, Daqing, Tieli, Heihe, etc. The number of their staff grows from 5 to10, and his annual income is over 100,000RMB.
Li Nan ate three meals a day in the field in return for 0.3 billion sale
After Li Nan graduated from Computer Department in 2009, he got an office in theScience and Technology Park. He and his team researched techniques and installed equipments from dawn to dusk. Now over10 irrigators which they agented came into service. The sale of irrigators was over 0.32 billion.
Li Nan told reporter that the difficulties he experienced were incredible. From the second year in the university, he tried nearly all walks of life. After his graduation, Li went to Beijing to find proper project. In one exhibition, the irrigators and some other implements of a company caught his attention. He thought Heilongjiang Province is a major agricultural province and that this kind of irrigator would find its place, and there was no one to agent this company’s irrigator. After negotiation, he got the sole agency of this company in Heilongjiang. In 2010, they sold 22 irrigators and the sale was over 30,000,000.
Wei Siyuan gave up the 100,000 RMB annual income to self-employ
After his graduation, Wei Siyuan worked in a Beijing computer institute with 100,000 RMB annual income. He and his friend Su Yaguang exchanged the technology of water pump testing after work. From 2006 to 2008, Wei obtained 2 patents. Then, Su pursued his master degree in HUST, and they two formed a partnership to bid to start a business in the Science and Technology Park.
They developed the water pump testing system which got monopoly status in its field. From the operation of their company, they drummed up lots of business, which doubled their confidence.
