On April 9, The Third Presidium Meeting of Faculty Congress was held in the second conference room of its main building to discuss the construction issues of32 attendees including3 as nonvoting delegates attended the congress.
The congress was hosted by Yang Chun, chairman of HUST Staff Union the congress. Gao Jun, party secretary of HUST’s CPC committee informed the progress having made in the congstruction of HUST’s teachers’ apartment. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to all who made contribution in this job and asked the attendees for advice on corresponding issues. After a heated discussion, agreements were reached with all members ofpresidium attended the congress voted to support them.
Li Dayong, HUST’s president concluded the congress by delivered an important speech to express his determination to fulfill the construction perfectly to meet the requirements of all HUST’s staffs.
