HUST hosted a series of high-level educational psychology lectures, inviting famous scholars to carry out academic exchange activities in order to help our teachers to grasp the characteristics of college students’ psychological law, understand the use of psychological methods, and guide students to deal with their friends, lead a healthy life and other aspects of the specific problems encountered.

On April 22nd, Professor Liu Xiaoming—director of national education experimental center of psychological education, association of research center of Jilin province, professor of Northeast Normal University—analyzed the current college students’ psychological problems on the real case. He also explained some important methods of communication between teachers and students such as admission, empathy for a detailed interpretation, emphasizing the fact that students really accept the teacher, which can really enhance the effect of Ideological and political education.

On May 29th, Professor Kong Desheng—Deputy director of national university students cultural quality education base, vice president of psychoanalysis Institute of Heilongjiang province, President of the Heilongjiang Psychological Association and professor of Harbin Engineering University—gave a lecture “Mental Case Practical Consulting Skills and Case Analysis”, explained how to cultivate students’ mental health, noble qualities and serious psychological problems of students in psychological counseling and counseling skills in detail.

On July 4th Professor Yang Xiaomei—vice president of the Institute of psychoanalysis in Heilongjiang Province, the national psychologist trainer, hypnotic health consultant, experts of Heilongjiang people’s Broadcasting Station invited psychological professor of Heilongjiang Academy of Engineering—made a speech entitled “Analysis of the Case of College Students’ Psychological Problems,” and talked about the problems such as interpersonal problems, students’ common academic problems etc.

On October 12th, Professor Tian Shumei made a speech on the topic “Psychological Workshop Theoretical Analysis and Workshop Demonstration”, by combining theory with demonstration teaching method ability training and psychological counseling for college students to adopt the form of group counseling, teacher needle scene to the problems encountered in the work actively ask questions and participate in group counseling field experience, experience in group counseling, psychological change.

The development of this series of high level of educational psychology department has helped teachers grasp the law of psychological activities in the process of ideological and political education, understand the mechanisms in the process of psychological information input in the ideological and political education.
