Invited by Dr. Steven A. Scott, the President of American Pittsburg State University, three-person delegation led by Sui Xiulin, the vice-president of Power and Mechanical Engineering College from Harbin University of Science and Technology visited the Pittsburg State University from Oct. 5thto Nov. 1st. Jia Dongkai who is the dean of Vehicle Engineering Department and Li Maoyue also visited the American Pittsburg State University. This visit achieved the expected aim and satisfactory result.
During the visiting and communicating period, our delegation and the professors from Pittsburg State University communicated deeply from many aspects, ranging from communication of teaching staff and students, cultivating mode and curriculum, based on the previous cooperation.
Our delegation introduced the teaching staff, personnel cultivation and the laboratory construction of Power and Mechanical Engineering College and Vehicle Engineering Department to the Professor Bruce D. Dallman who is the principal of Technological College in Pittsburg State University and the dean of Vehicle Department Professor Robert L. Frisbee.
Our delegation had two talks with Professor Bruce D. Dallman, the principal of Technological College, Doctor Cathy Lee, the dean of International Plan and Sevice Department, Professor Robert L. Frisbee, the dean of Vehicle Department and the related teaching staff. They had frank and deep discussion on the cultivation scheme, and at the same time, achieved the common and satisfactory result in the aspects of personnel cultivation and operation scheme.
In addition, our delegation observed and learned the theory and practice teaching process, experiencing the teaching characteristic of Pittsburg State University. In the meanwhile, they also knew the situation of the teaching materials used.
