Invited by our School of Materials, specialists from joint innovation lab of semiconductor lighting in Chinese Academy of Science, Delft University of Technology in Holland, Harbin Institute of Technology and our university attend International Academic Seminar of LED Manufacturing Technology organized by our university.

The seminar was held at No. 4 meeting room, No.1 teaching building of our West Campus. Vice President Zhao Hong attended the seminar and addressed at the meeting. He expressed warm welcome to the distinguished guests at first, and introduced the general overview of our academic research and teaching, hoping the experts bring new technologies and information to our teachers and students.

Y.Y. Leung and K.Y. Wong from joint innovation lab of semiconductor lighting in Chinese Academy of Science reported on the hot issues of color stability of LED packaging and LED packaging technology. Professor Wai Ka from Delft University of Technology in Holland introduced promising integrated packaging technology of LED multi-functional system. Professor Tian Yanhong from Harbin Institute of Technology explained the research situation of LED field and Micro-electronics Installment in the national key lab of HIT advanced welding technology. Professor Wang Dongxing in our Applied Science School and Doctor Liu Yang presented the relevant research study in our university respectively. Professor Wang Hongmin from our Automation School, Secretary-general of Technology Innovation Alliance in Heilongjiang Semiconductor Lighting Industry, spoke highly of the seminar. He hopes more of high-level technical seminars are held in our province, and more new technology and ideas are brought by the specialists.

The teachers and students open their horizons, and promote friendship through this seminar. They have better understanding on the new technologies, hot issues and future prospect, which laid a solid foundation for cooperation between our university and enterprises.
