From May 22 to 23, HUST Party Secretary Zhao Guogang, accompanied by Rong Panxiang, HUST’s president assistant and director of CPC’s Organization and United Front Work Department, conducted a series of guidance and inspections in corresponding work in Rongcheng Campus.

On the afternoon of May 22, after arriving at Rongcheng Campus, Party Secretary Zhao and Director Rong attended the meeting for all cadres and backbone teachers of whole Campus’ working staff. Director Rong read the decision passed by HUST’s CPC committee on the leadership adjustment of Rongcheng Campus. Then Party Secretary Zhao made an important speech, interpreting the core idea, major tasks and basic principles of this organizational adjustment deeply.

Party Secretary Zhao gave a full affirmation on the outstanding contribution the former leaders of Rongcheng Campus, i.e. Zhang Su, Shi Zhensen, had made to achieve leapfrog development for Rongcheng Campus, and spoke highly of the capability of two new top leaders of Rongcheng Campus, i.e. Branch Party Secretary Duanmu Yongdong and Dean Xu Xiangchen. He showed his confidence in the development of Rongcheng Campus, and proposed 4 expectations for its future work of Rongcheng Campus.

Zhang Su, Shi Zhensen, Duanmu Yongdong and Xu Xiangchen delivered their address in turns, saying they will firmly support and executive the Party committee’s decision.

Shortly after the meeting, Party Secretary Zhao Guogang, together with Deputy Director Yin Xiaolan and Inspector Wang Shuyun from MOE of Heilongjiang Province, went to visit Hou Shichao, Party Secretary of Rongcheng CPC committee, and some other top leaders of Rongcheng’s municipal government and CPC committee, and carried a thorough exchange and discussion on the development and construction of Rongcheng Campus,etc.

On the morning of May 23, accompanying several administration leaders from Heilongjiang, Rongchen and Weihai, Party Secretary Zhao and all working staff of Rongcheng Campus, attended the opening ceremony of Rongcheng Campus’ sports meeting.

During the 2-day inspection, Party Secretary Zhao and Director Rong also made conversations with 14 teachers or cadres above section levels from Rongcheng Campus on carrying out the Party’s integrity education, and listened to their opinions on their own jobs and suggestions on the development of campus.
