On Dec. 6, 2014, designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Heilongjiang Science and Technology Department organized experts and specialists to test the dielectric engineering lab, co-constructed by Heilongjiang Province and the Ministry.
The testing experts and specialists are composed of professors and experts from Chongqing University, Xi’an Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Southern Power Grid, Heilongjiang Electric Academy, Harbin Electric Machinery Company and Heilongjiang Science Association. Wang Fucheng, Vice Director of Heilongjiang Science and Technology Department, hosted the conference. President Li Dayong, the Head of the Lab Academician Lei Qingquan, Vice President and the Dean of the Lab Zhao Hong, Vice President Wei Xinlao, Professor Zhao Qingguo, Vice Director of Science and Technology Department Zhang Hui and 30 members of the key lab presented the conference.
Li Dayong expressed his warm welcome towards the experts and specialists and introduced the construction of the lab. Following that, he also expressed his gratitudes towards Heilongjiang Provincial Government, Heilongjiang Science and Technology Department, Heilongjiang Provincial Education Department, Academician Lei Qingquan and members of the lab.
Zhao Hong reported the construction and the future plan of the lab. Lei Qingquan complemented Zhao Hong’s report and gave suggestions about its construction. The panel made a field research of the lab and communicated with the faculty of the lab. They confirmed the achievements of the lab during construction. They agreed that the lab was of accurate target, clear research orientation, and unique feature. The lab has fulfilled the requiement of the Planning Report in terms of research, faculty construction and cultivation, communication and coooperation, hardware construction and discipline construction. The panel arrived at the agreement that the lab was in accordance with the standard of the acceptance test with the result of “Excellence”.
On behalf of the university, Wei Xinlao expressed his gratitudes towards the panel and leaders for their support and help. Furthermore, he expected more cooperation with the panel and other labs. The university will devote more effort and support to the lab to make it become internationally advanced scientific innovative platform.
