At 2:00 p.m., January 7, Leadership Transition Assembly for Female PhD Association and Health Lecture were held at the multifunctional hall of Building 1 on West Campus of HUST. Vice Chairwoman of Heilongjiang Women’s Federation Guo Li, Party Secretary of HUST Zhao Guogang, Deputy Party Secretary of HUST and Honorary President of Female-Doctor Association Lu Yan, Union President of HUST Yang Chun, Vice Executive Chairman of Union of HUST Qi Kaijun, the 1^stPresident of Female-Doctor Association Sun Fenglian, the 2^ndPresident of Female-Doctor Association Li Qinghua, and Union leaders of Schools and Departments attended the meeting, and some female doctor teachers, female doctor board members, nearly 200 persons, participated in the meeting as well. The meeting was hosted by Vice President of Female-Doctor Association Shan Lina.

After the leadership transition meeting, President of Heilongjiang Women’s Association, Master Instructor and Director of Career Guidance Department of Social Medicine and Public Health Management Major of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Wang Yu gave a lecture entitledFriend, Is Your Health Managed?to make the audience get acknowledged about the basics of health management, regimen, constitution identification according to Chinese medicine and other health care knowledge.

Since its foundation in 2008, under the high attention attached by Party Committee, guidance of Union and strong support of schools and departments, taking “intellectuality, dedication, happiness and progress” as the motto, Female-Doctor Association of HUST has organized many collective gatherings, forum lectures and donation activities, not only providing the female doctors with a happy life and entertaining platform, but also creating communication opportunities for female-doctor teachers to play a role of backbone teachers; at meantime, the association provided the female doctors with a broad space to offer compassion and serve the society. In the future, the Female-Doctor Association will coordinate the central work of HUST to play the social function, actively organize activities, develop the intension, broaden communication, stimulate cooperation, and unite and lead the female teachers of HUST, contributing wisdom and strength to the rapid development of HUST as well as the economic and social development of Heilongjiang Province.
