Our University held the report meeting of scientific research achievements on November 13th. The personnel attending the meeting were vice president Wei Xinlao, director of Science and Technology Office Yu Xiaoyang, deputy director of Science and Technology Office Zhang Hui, and directors, deputy directors, university academic leaders and subject backup leaders from Mechanical Power Engineering School, School of Materials, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Automation, School of Computer Science and Technology, School of Measurement and Control technology & Communication Engineering, Chemistry and Environmental Engineering School, Software School, Architectural Engineering School, and Applied Science and Technology School. The meeting was chaired by the director of Science and Technology Office Yu Xiaoyang.
In order to promote cooperation and researches with local governments and enterprises, this meeting aimed to get to know the progress of our university’s scientific research achievements which can be applied, toincrease the intensity of production-study-research cooperations, and to promote the transformation process ofscientific research achievements. Every school delivered a speech on the prospective scientific research achievements at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, vice president Wei Xinlao gave a conclusive speech. He said that 11 members of our university’s scientific investigation group went to five cities of Jiangsu Province to carry out investigation and research activities. They felt that with the rapid economic development, entriprises need the scientific research achievements from universities. He hoped that all the staff of our univeristy should pay great attention to the scientific research achievements, and make full use of the policy and fund supports from local governments, making contributions to social development and promoting the transformation of scientific innovative achievements.
