From August 8^thto 10^th, 40 alumni of Grade 85 from Meter major returned to Alma Mater—Harbin University of Science and Technology, recalling their youth in the university and recalling their graduation from university for 25 years. The vice-dean of Measurement College, Tong Ziquan who was the League Secretary during the university, attended the gathering.

At 9 o’clock in the morning, the alumni checked in at the conference room of the Measurement College. The alumni embraced, shook hands and took photos, which expressed their exciting mood meeting the university classmates. At noon, the alumni arrived at the first dining hall on the west campus. They were extremely excited when seeing the familiar food on the dining table. In the afternoon, they visited the Alumni House, where they were attracted by the photos on the walls showing their past life in the university. Walking in the dormitory, they sat around the table, chatting and laughing as if they were still in the university. When the visit came to the end, the alumni left messages on the message board, expressing the good wishes for the Alma Mater. At last, they took the photos in front of the Alumni House and finished the whole day’s gathering in the university.
