From July 25 to July 27, 46 alumni of Accounting Major Class 81-2 got together from all over the country in HUST, reminiscing the things past and chatting about the love to the alma mater. The former Director of Retirement Department Yang Shibin (class teacher), Wu Tiegang of School of Economy (course teacher), Zhang Li (course teacher), Li Zunqing (course teacher) and the retired cadre Zhang Hongquan (Director of Student Section) attended the gathering throughout; the Vice President of School Union Gao Qingshan attended the second half of the activity.
From the afternoon of July 25, the alumni arrived and registered at the Li Gong Plaza. Hand Shaking, hugging, laughing, chatting, the alumni expressed their affection for each other, teachers and alma mater accumulated for 30 years at that moment and reminisced the things past. At 7 p.m., the gathering banquet started, which was hosted by the monitor of Accounting Major Class 81-2, Zhang Yujun. Firstly, the teachers recalled the things past and expressed their love to the students, by which the alumni were deeply touched. Secondly, the representative of the alumni Sun Weichen addressed a speech, expressing the love to the alma mater, teachers and classmates and the good wish for all. During the banquet, a video by one of the alumni Xu Huili from Los Angeles, US was played. In the video, she said it was a pity that she could not return to HUST to attend the gathering but her heart had already been there. She also expressed her good wish for all. After the banquet, the alumni visited the Home of Alumni. In the end, all the alumni took a group photo at the hall of Home Alumni.
