On Feb. 15,led by Vice President Chen Tai, a six-membered delegation from CGNPG (China General Nuclear Power Group) Party School arrived HUST to investigate the feasibility and practicality of cooperation in cultivating nuclear power talents.
HUST’s Vice Party Secretary Meng Shangjiu, together with Director Zhou Changqun and Vice Director Gao Shan fromDepartment of Enrollment & Employment, Vice Director Shi Lei from Department of Teaching Affairs, and some vice deans or directors from School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, School of Mechanical & Power Engineering, School of Measurement-Control Technology & Communications Engineering, School of Material Science & Engineering and School of Automation, met with the delegation in the meeting room on the 5th floor of New Building, West Campus.
On behalf of HUST leading staff, Vice Party Secretary Meng expressed a warm greeting to the delegation, as well as his gratitude to the help and support CGNPG had offered in HUST graduates’ seeking jobs for the last several years. He and Vice President Chen shared the information that was concerned by both sides with each other in great details and hoped to further corresponding cooperation with CGNPC in future.
Then, exchanges were made on specific matters in HUST-CGNPG cooperation among attendees of the meeting before the delegation went to School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering to visit the labs there, esp., the Key Laboratory of Engineering Dielectrics and its Application, MOE.
