On January 5, Vice Director of the Fundamental Research Department in the Ministry of Science and Technology Guo Zhiwei visited the Electrolyte Engineering Lab (the co-constructed lab by Heilongjiang Province and the Ministry) of HUST.

General Secretary Zhao Guogang, Vice President of HUST and the Dean of the Lab Zhao Hong, and Vice President Wei Xinlao joined the visit. Zhao Guogang extended his warm welcome towards Guo Zhiwei.

Guo Zhiwei made an in-depth survey of the Lab. Zhao Hong reported the constructive background of the lab, plan, research achievements and the operation of the lab. Guo Zhiwei praised highly about the progress of the lab. He hoped that the lab could enhance the construction of its research team, promote its influence and make more contribution to the country.

The Director of the Lab Construction Department in the Ministry of Science and Technology Fu Xiaofeng, the Director of the Developing Department in the Provincial Science and Technology Bureau Wang Jianchao, the Director in the Fundamental Research Department Wang Sen, the Vice Director Wang Fucheng, and the Vice Director of the Science and Technology Department in HUST Zhang Hui also joined the visit.
