On the afternoon of July 18, the research group, a line of 11 people, investigated and discussed in Science Park of HUST. The research group was formed by Industrial Development Department, Research Department, Technology Transfer Center and University Science and Technology Park from Shanghai Second Polytechnic University. Mr. Yu Yandong, general manager of Science Park, and some leading officials from related departments, accompanied the research group to research and participated in the discussion.
During the discussion, Mr. Yu Yandong expressed a warm welcome to the research group from Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, and the hope that the two sides could improve together through mutual communication and learning. Mr. Jiang Ming, the leader of the research group and Deputy Director of Industrial Development Department from Shanghai Polytechnic University, introduced briefly the background and purposes of the research and wished to study the development experience from the Science Park of HUST and more science and technology parks of other universities in order to push forward the rapid development of the Science and Technology Park of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University. Mr. Li Jian, assistant of general manager, introduced in details the development of our Science Park in business incubation, result transformation, public technical service platform, personnel training, creating space and other aspects. Later, the two sides communicated and discussed how to develop university science parks and problems in the process. Mr. Yu Yandong made detailed answers to the questions of research group concerning teachers’ job invention, university resources sharing, settled procedures of College Students’ entrepreneurial team, management model, encouragement policy, working system of venture tutors and so on. Mr. Jiang Ming expressed appreciation towards the operation mode of our Science Park, and anticipation to strengthen cooperation and develop cooperatively.
After the discussion, members of the research group visited Creating Space of Science Park and other related incubation service sites.
