Our Robot Team Got Good Prize in 2015 National Robot Competition

The northeast division of 2015 National University Robot Competition was held in Harbin Engineering University from June 6 to June 7. This competition is sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, and the National Association of Students. 16 teams in northeast division attend this great event. After two-day fierce competition, our Robot-Pathfinder got national third prize, ranking No. 6 in northeast division. It will attend the national final competition in Shenzhen in July.

Our Robot-Pathfinder triggered a HUST whirlwind in the competition as the characteristics of varied tactics, flexible battlefield, and rapid & resolute fight. In the group stage, it won the team from Harbin Institute of Technology, and drew with the teams from Dalian Jiaotong University and Harbin Engineering University in group stage. As the second place in the group, it entered the quarter final competition.

The competition is organized by our Youth League Committee. Based on the laboratories and facilities in our Engineering Training Center, this competition is guided by Wan Quan from Engineering Training Center, Chen Cai from Electrical Engineering School. The 20 students attended are from School of Mechanics, School of Automation, and School of Control Technology & Communication Engineering. This competition received great support from the leaders from the Engineering Training Center and Teaching Affairs Office.
