Recently, the results of 2015 National Social Science Annual Project and Youth Project have been publicized. Two projects from our Professor Yang Shoujin, School of Marxism, and Professor Wang Wei, School of Economics, got the annual project funding. There are 74 projects in Heilongjiang Province getting this prize this year, and our university ranks No. 4 in our province after Heilongjiang University, Harbin University of Commerce, and Harbin Normal University.

Our leaders in charge and the leaders in our Federation of Social Science attach great importance to the work of National Social Science project application, and fully deploy the workflow in every stage. At the beginning of the work, the staff in Science and Technology Department interviewed all liberal art schools, gave a wide mobilization, and invited Professor Jiang Guozhong from Heijongjiang Province Committee Party School to deliver a report on the National Social Science Application to all teachers applying for the project. During the application, they assisted our teachers to apply for the project, sending notice about the matters needing attention. In later stage, they examined the format of every project to ensure successful submission to the National Planning Office.

Until now, our university has got seven National Social Science Projects funding since 2011, and successfully fulfilled the task of five items in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan.
