At 9 a.m. of Nov. 8, under the host of Vice Party Secretary Lu Yan, the 2015’s HUST Workshop forParty Member was held in the Lecture Hall on the fifth floor of Main Teaching Building, West Campus, where Zhao Guogang, HUST’s Party Secretary, delivered his guidance lecture entitled“Weave Our Chinese Dream” to some 1,200 young CPC members from HUST Party School seated in both the Lecture Hall (main venue) and seven other classrooms nearby (affiliated venues).

In his lecture, Party Secretary Zhao illustrated his theme from three perspectives, i.e. historic perspective (Youths are the nucleus of weaving Chinese Dream), objective perspective (Weaving Chinese Dream is the best platform for youths’ self development) and value perspective (Chinese Dream is the guide of youths’ self-development). With the interpretation of the definition of Chinese Dreams, the key factors of weaving Chinese Dreams and how do college students weave their Chinese Dreams, he encourage the audience, esp., those undergraduate Party members to work hard and strive for making progress every day, aiming at being outstanding patriots of innovation and crossover thinking.

The lecture was very informative, sticking to the theme of modern society, the mission of our universities and the need of youth development, and should be of special importance for HUST students to enhance their political awareness.（Photo by Liu Chang）
