To prepare the Party Congress and design the “13thFive Years Plan” scientifically, on the morning of September 25, the Human Resource Symposium on the provincial and school academic leaders was held at the 2ndMeeting Room of Main Teaching Building. Secretary of the Party Committee of HUST Zhao Guogang, Vice President Fang Wenbin, some representatives of provincial and school academic leaders and leaders from Party Committee’s Department of Publicity, the Office of Personnel, Graduate School, Science and Technology Department, the Office of Teaching Affairs and other relevant departments attended the meeting, which was presided over by Zhao Guogang.
At the meeting, eight provincial academic leaders and two school academic leaders gave some serious summaries on development and splendid achievements of individual discipline, and from their own working practice, shared experiences and understandings of discipline construction, and offered some comments and suggestions to the human resource work of HUST as well.
During the symposium, Secretary Zhao Guogang, Vice President Fang Wenbin and other representatives participating in the conference carried on the thorough discussion on development plan, policy, management mechanism, environment, atmosphere and other aspects of human resource work of HUST. The symposium lasted over three hours in a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
In the end, Secretary Zhao Guogang exchanged five ideas with the representatives of provincial and school academic leaders and leaders from the relevant departments on human resource work of HUST. The first one is to heighten ideological understanding. The second is people oriented. The third one is to set up some first-class disciplines. The fourth one is to adhere to the characterized and professional development way. The last one is to stick to innovation and cooperation.
