On September 28, Zhang Haitao, the graduates from our national defense school, who attends the September 3rdmilitary parade came back to HUST. We held a forum with the purposes of exchanging his experiences and sharing his delightfulness. Besides, our school leaders Meng Shangjiu, Liu Changfa and Shan Lina also meet him.
Zhang Haitao graduated from Reserve Officer School, Harbin University of Science and Technology, major in electronic science and technology. In university, he used to be the platoon leader, political instructor, and national flag bearer. He works in Second Artillery Corps after graduation and has successively been the posts of platoon leader, staff officer of military affairs, organization secretary and political instructor. On September 3rd, 2015, he attended the military parade for 70thanniversary victories for anti-Japanese War and the world Anti-Fascism war. He was in the second square team of the nuclear missile.
During the forum, Zhang Haitao shared his feeling of being a soldier and to be a member in military parade. Zhang told us it is extremely difficult time during the whole process from application, personnel selection to the parade training. It was a significant moment for him to attend the military parade. Although it was arduous and strenuous, but he never forgot his original targets and dreams “joining in the military parade once, and honoring for the rest of his life”. After the parade, he was so excited to tell himself that he eventually realizes his military parade dream. He said that he will maintain this spirit and put this passion into his career, and try his utmost to accomplish the missions and meet his commitment.
Zhang said the parade was a check for standard, the check for limitation and the check for human experience; the parade was a test making his belief more confirmed and his will more enhanced; the parade was a surpass making his life more colorful.
At the end of the forum, Zhang thanks our Alma mater for her cultivation. He said that all his honor contributed to the individual comprehensive quality improvement during the university period. He encouraged the students in national defense school to take full use of the time and resources, forming the diligent thinking habit. He also told the students to have confidence in the excellent platform of HUST and believe in HUST.
Besides, our other three graduates, Yang Yong, Ji Fengyan and Zhao Lingliang also joined the Spetember 3rdmilitary parade.
