On the afternoon of December 29th, at half past four, the Third Congress of the Chinese Communist Party of China of Harbin University of Science and Technology had a successful closing. Li Dayong, the president of HUST hosted the closing ceremony, and 190 representatives attended the closing ceremony.
Before the closing ceremony, the congress officially elected the members of the Party Committee and the members of the Discipline Inspection Commission. At the closing ceremony, ticket director Deng Caixia reported the election result to the members of the Third Congress of the Chinese Communist Party of China of Harbin University of Science and Technology.

The congress passed the Resolution on the Work Report of the Second Committee of the Chinese Communist Party of China of Harbin University of Science and Technology (Draft) and the Resolution on the Work Report of the Discipline Inspection Committee of the Third Congress of the Chinese Communist Party of China of Harbin University of Science and Technology (Draft).
Zhao Guogang Delivering the Closing Speech
Zhao Guogang delivered the closing speech. He pointed out that this congress summarized the working achievements and basic experience of HUST since the second congress of the Chinese Communist Party of China, and put forward the developing aim and working procedures to build high-level teaching and research university. He emphasized that the following five years is the key period in which the university is to be built high-level teaching and research university. Our university is confronted with many opportunities and in the meanwhile faced with many challenges. Therefore, we should unite our minds and try our best to fulfill the various tasks put forward in this congress.
