Recently, the results of the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Awards in 2015 have been unveiled, and eight achievements of our school have won the awards, including First Prize 1, Second Prize 5, and Third Prize 2. On 25-26 November, Heilongjiang Science and Technology Reward Defense Review Committee was held in the technology mansion of Harbin Science and Technology Innovation City. Vice-governor Hu Yafeng attended the meeting and made an important speech. The director-general Yang Tingshuang and the deputy director-general Yu Lihe of the provincial department of science and technology attended the meeting. Vice president of our school Guo Erjun was also present at the meeting as a defense judge. The list of achievements in the preliminary assessment all passed the defense and finally eight achievements won the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Awards in 2015. This year, there witnessed several improvements in terms of the winning number and quality of the awards.
The number and the quality of scientific research achievements awards are one of the significant measurements of the level of scientific research in higher educational institutions. Our school leaders attached great importance to the awards, and Science and Technology Department organized the declaration work seriously and held the mobilization meeting, during which on the basis of the requirements of the awards and the reality of our school, the initial preparation of the declaration work and cautions in organizing materials were all explained in detail. After the meeting, follow-up mobilization was conducted to the potential teachers to win. We tried to widen the channel of the recommendation, get more opportunities for these awards to win, and carry on the defense tutoring to those having passed the initial assessment on the Internet.
Here are the award-winning achievements:
1.The Development and Industrialization of the New Type of Helicopter Transmission System,project undertook and finished by Zhao Xingfu and Ge Jianghua, won the First Prize of progress class, accomplished by Harbin dong’an engine (group) co., LTD, and HUST.
2.The Preparation of Functional Material of Polyoxometalate and the Construction of Electrochemical Sensors, project undertook and finished by Ma Huiyuan, won the Second Prize of natural class, accomplished by HUST.
3.The Basic Theoretical Research of High Temperature Shape Memory Alloy, project undertook and finished by Tan Changlong, won the Second Prize of natural class, accomplished by HUST.
4.High Temperature Interfacial Stability of Aluminum Borate Whisker Reinforced Aluminum Composite Material Design and Performance Study, project undertook and finished by Yue Hongyan, won the Second Prize of natural class, accomplished by HUST.
5.High Precision Bearing with Steel Ball Surface Defect Detection of Key Technology and Equipment Development, project undertook and finished by Zhao Yanling, won the Second Prize of progress class, accomplished by HUST.
6.500 KV Cable Insulation State Comprehensive On-line Monitoring Technology Research, project undertook and finished by Zhang Xiaohong, won the Second Prize of progress class, accomplished by HUST, Southern Power Grid Research Institute Co., LTD, China Southern Power Grid Ehv power Transmission Company of Guangzhou Bureau.
7.Clean Combustion Technology of Fluidized Bed Particle Dynamics of Science Research, project undertook and finished by Chen Jvhui, won the Third Prize of natural class, accomplished by HUST.
8.Long Distance Pipeline Compressor 20 Mw Class High Speed Frequency Explosion-proof Motor, project undertook and finished by Li Junting , won the Third Prize of natural class, accomplished by HUST, Harbin Electric Power Equipment Co., LTD, Harbin Institute of Large Motor.
It is hoped that all the colleges attach great importance to the evaluation in scientific research work, actively organize the teachers to declare all kinds of science and technology awards in 2016, and the work will be an important measurement and one of the indicators is to evaluate the organization of scientific research and service in each school.
