On December 2nd, the “Ground Signing Ceremony for Science and Technology Projects of Nangang District,Harbin” was held smoothly; 22 “high-end, high-tech and high value-added” major strategic emerging industrial projects were signed in groups in Nangang District,Harbin.
The project entitled “Biomass Straw Board Production Line” by Professor Zhang Yunzhi from the School of Mechanical Engineering of HUST was selected successfully and signed at the meeting. Vice President Guo Erjun, General Manager of Hi-Tech Park Yu Yandong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Zhang Hui attended the signing ceremony.
Since HUST is the largest science and engineering university inHeilongjiangProvince, the achievements of HUST were attached great importance to by Nangang District Government. Through consultations and repeated demonstrations, the two parties selected the “Biomass Straw Board Production Line” project to develop in New Material Industrial Park of Nangang District where the workshop of 2200 square meters was supplied by the district government. With the cooperation form of “Government, Industry, University, Research and Fund cooperating together”, a total investment of 15 million Yuan would be put to build a production base which could manufacture 14sets of biomass straw board production lines annually.
This successful signing opened up a new model for the transformation of the scientific and technological achievements of HUST, stimulating it to a new level and becoming a new bright spot for the transformation. We will continue to cater to the local development expectation, rely on the science and technology park of the university, and agglomerate the development factors and scientific and technological advantages, so as to incubate, hatch and output more new achievements and promote the win-win cooperation between universities as well as local enterprises and governments.
