Sponsored by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, 2016 Graduates’ Red Carpet Ceremony that is the graduates’ farewell party was held successfully in the football field of West Campus on the evening of June 27. The heads present at the ceremony were President Li Dayong, Deputy Party Secretary Lu Yan, Vice President Man Chuntao, and the leaders in related offices and schools. Thousands of teachers, alumni, parents and students spent the unforgettable night together in memory of youth and the HUST stories.

It was the first time that we held the Red Carpet Ceremony to bid farewell to the graduates. At the beginning of the ceremony, President Li Dayong walked through the red carpet and wrote down his blessings on the signature wall. The graduates were very excited on seeing their beloved president standing among them. As the best way to say farewell to the growth, they took photos with President Li and asked for his autograph. The other heads of our university and schools continued to walk through the carpet.

After the Red Carpet Ceremony, 2016 graduates’ party began. Graduates, undergraduates and retired staff gave their performance to show their youth stories. They described, reviewed the days they were at HUST, expressing their deep emotion with the Alma Mater.
