Food Science and Engineering Specialty Newly Established in HUST

Recently, the new applied specialty—Food Science and Engineering obtained the final record in the Ministry of Education, according to the “Notice of results of the record and approval of the undergraduate major of the higher education institutions by the Ministry of Education in the year of 2015.” Harbin University of Science and Technology has 60 undergraduate programs, focusing on engineering, combined with science and technology, forming the structure of multiple-discipline coordinating development.

In the next stage, based on the deep research and study, our university may focus on the professional connotation construction, adjust the professional structure, cultivate high quality applied talents for the construction of Five Major Planning and Ten Major Projects.
