In order to make a good job of reception for back-to-school alumni taking class as a unit to perform commemorative activities, to enrich the content of alumni’s commemoration and embody the concern of our Mother School for alumni, Alumni Office and Rear Service Group have set up “Alumni Center” for the alumni who are back to school for commemoration to experience the hostel life and relive their golden years in mother school. Recently, being painted and cleaned for a month, “AlumniCenter” has almost completed. During the preparation procedure, principals paid high attention and inquired of the building schedule of “AlumniCenter”. The vice president of Rear Service Group and the staff of Housekeeping Service Center gave up their breaks and worked overtime to push the progress in construction so as to ensure “AlumniCenter” can come into service before the arrival of back-to-school peak during the summer vacation and let more back-to-school alumni experience the hostel life in dormitory.
During the preparation procedure, Cao Lesong the vice president of Rear Service Group aggressively sought to let Qing Hui Textile Factory at Rang Hulu District in Da Qing donate beddings, and Yang Hui the vice president of the textile factory sent the well-made beddings to our school personally, which ensured the completion of construction of “Alumni Center”.
On July 20th, “AlumniCenter” ushered in the first group of alumni. Liu Xianli the Party Secretary of Mechanical Department of our university together with other alumni of Class Machine and Tool 79-1 checked in “AlumniCenter” and experienced the collective life on campus again.
During back-to-school peak in the summer vacation, several classes have reserved the rooms of “AlumniCenter”. In view of the limited beds, the alumni who want to check in the “AlumniCenter” have to contact the Alumni Office and register previously.
