On the afternoon of April. 26^th, Chen Sisi arrived on the western campus in HUST. The activity—ChinaDream: Let the Dream Fly—was hosted on the fifth floor in the new teaching building. Our university is the first station for Chen Sisi to give her speech to the universities. Chen is the famous singer, the leading figure in folk song and our visiting professor. Her arrival pushes our activity whose theme is “My China Dream” to a new high position. The leaders and the guests who attend this activity are secretary of Party Committee Gao Jun, Vice President Wu Junfeng, the president assistant Meng Zhuang, the dean of the Second Artillery in HUST Wang Liuyu, deputy director of Harbin Public Security Bureau Han Zhi and the relevant leaders in colleges.

As the deputy head of the art troupe in the second artillery, Chen Sisi is not only the leader in her career, she devotes herself into the public service and cares the development of the young. In the activity, Chen talked with our students face to face, and she used her story to encourage the young friends to realize their dream. At the same time, she answered the questions asked by the young students and directed them to have a correct value about the world and life.

At the very beginning of the activity, Chen and the 400 present students had an interval of silence to show respect for the dead people in the Ya’an earthquake. They hope all the people in China can unite together to overcome the difficulty.

During the 40-minute interview, Chen talked about the music dream, the army dream, the Chinese culture dream, the Chinese folk dream and China Dream. We can feel the struggle process of Chen in these years. As what she hoped for the students, as long as everyone has a great expectation, grasp the opportunity and never give up, we can realize our dreams at last.

During the interaction, the three representatives from the students, Fu Jianjun, Dong Ying and Zheng Shichao, talked about their beautiful China Dream based on their own experiences, and their belief and determination to realize it. The communication between Chen and the three representatives was excellent. In the meanwhile, students also ask questions through short messages or micro-blog, and Chen answered the questions one by one with her psychological remarks.

At last, Chen gave the China Dream CD to the students, and she with the students sang the song together. Through the activity, the students can understand deeply the meaning of China Dream and can strive for their dreams.
