From December 14 to 16, 2012 National Cheering Squad Competition, namely National Cheering Squad Star Challenge Final was jointly hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China and College Sports Association of China at Xixi Valley Conference and Exhibition Center in Chang Zhou. The competition was the annual final after 12 matches all over the state and the champions of the 12 matches competed for the final championship.
Bingling 4° of HUST entered the Chang Zhou final competition by the qualification of Free Dance championship and Jazz Difficulty Grade III championship got in Tianjin in the late November and competed with over 3000 cheering squad players from the colleges and universities nationwide. Finally, Bingling 4° got the championship in the Free Dance Group and Jazz Difficulty Grade III Group as well. In the individual event, Zhang Yi from the School of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications Engineering performed perfectly and got the 2ndprize in the final. Guo Yu from the School of Economy successfully ranked national top 20thand got the title of Cheering Squad Star of China. At the same time, chief coaches Su Li and An Lei got the titles of Excellent Coaches issued by the competition committee.
The achievements got by Bingling 4° Cheering Squad was based on the hard work they did. We wish them more successes in the future.
