Delegation from European University Cyprus consisting of Vice President Dr. Kostas Gouliamos, Director of Admissions Office and International Affairs Department Ms. Marina Alexandrou, and China Project Director Ms. Wang Ying came to visit our university on November 5.

On the morning of 5th, Vice President Zhao Hong had a meeting with the delegation, during which Dr. Kostas Gouliamos extended his gratitude for our gracious invitation and warm reception, expressed the sincere greeting from the president and the staff of his university, and introduced their university via a short video file. So far, 8 students from HUST went to study in European University Cyprus in October 2012, February and October of this year, since the signing of Teaching and Researching International Cooperation Agreement between the two universities last year when President Li Dayong visited European University Cyprus. Vice President Dr. Kostas Gouliamos brought scolarship quotas this time (2 full and 10 partial scholarships) to show their sincerity in further promoting students exchanging with HUST.Vice President Zhao Hong first showed his appreciation for the scholarship quotas, and promise to pick up outstanding students to study inEuropean University Cyprus, so as to enhance the cooperation between the two universities.The presidents from the two sides reached the agreement that we will establish cooperation in scientific research, sharing of academic achievements, and teachers exchanging on the basis of students exchanging.

On the afternoon of 5^th,Vice President Dr. Kostas Gouliamos, Director of Admissions Office and International Affairs Department Ms. Marina Alexandrou, and China Project Director Ms. Wang Ying made project presentation to students in Management College, Economy College, Computer Science and Technology College, Software College of HUST. Ms. Marina Alexandrou and Ms. Wang Ying answered the questions from the students on study lives in Cyprus. And now our university has already began to accept registeration and will send students to Cyprus in February, 2014. Then, Director Xi Zhaohui from International Cooperation and Exchange Department showed the delegation around the three campuses of our university.

Attending the meeting are also: Director Wang Hongqi from Management College, Director Xiu Guoyi from Economy College, Director Xi Zhaohui from International Cooperation and Exchange Department, Vice Director Tang Yuanxin from Computer Science and Technology College, Professor Cui Linhai from Software College, and Shao Yang from International Cooperation and Exchange Department.
