Recently, the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province announced the results of the 2023 Graduate Excellent Course Construction Project and those of Ideological and Political Course Construction Project. In terms of high-quality course projects, all 8 projects recommended by our university have been approved as the construction of high-quality graduate courses in Heilongjiang Province in 2023, an increase of 3 projects compared to the number approved in 2022; In terms of ideological and political course education projects, our university has been approved for one ideological and political course education teaching research center, three guide ideological and political education teams, five ideological and political course education courses, and six ideological and political course education cases were approved. We have achieved a "double growth" in both the quantity and quality of applications for graduate education innovation and quality improvement projects.
In recent years, HUST has been active in training various units and encouraging them to apply for a series of graduate education innovation and quality improvement projects. The Graduate School Office carefully asks graduate supervisors and course teachers from different colleges to refine and improve materials, and invites experts from both inside and outside the university to provide guidance and advice on the application materials, ensuring the quality of the recommended projects submitted by the university.
In that application, Heilongjiang Province received 476 projects from 24 graduate cultivating units, and a total of 23 projects of our university were approved for construction, ranking among the top graduate cultivating units in the province. This is another stage of the university's efforts to accelerate the reform of graduate education in the new era and improve the quality of graduate classroom teaching. In the next phase, our university will fully play the exemplary and leading role in the projects established in the past three years, vigorously promote the construction of ideological and political projects and high-quality courses for graduate courses, and integrate the concept of moral cultivation into the whole process of graduate cultivating, so as to further improve the teaching level and quality of graduate education in our university as well as make contributions to the cultivation of high-level talents who serve the needs of national strategies and regional economic development.
